Hit:Type of bat that is only going to get better as he adds strength to that athletic frame. Simple, efficient mover in the box. Swing is balanced and path is level. Worked all fields in BP.
Power:Line drive pop.
Offensive Projection:Table setter at present.
Max BP Exit Velocity:85 mph
Max BP Distance: 308 ft
Field:Plays with smooth actions and a fluid tempo in the outfield. Footwork is well timed. Ball skills are on par for class.
Throw:Ball jumps well. Accurate arm.
Defensive Projection: Multiple Spots.
Scouting Notes:On the mound the right-hander shows smoother tempo to a delivery that requires some effort. Arm is clean through a high-3/4 slot. Almost certainly more velocity to come as he adds strength to frame. Spins a big breaker that pops out o f the hand with a slurvish shape to complement the heater.
