Brody Symsick: RHP/3B, (2022) Galion, OH. 6-foot-1, 200-pound. Solid at the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 91 mph. Started in an athletic open stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Has a level swing plane and quick bat speed. Found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Solid while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 77 mph; shows average athletic feet, a fluid exchange, and consistent hands. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.64. Solid on the mound, has good arm speed and throws from a high ¾ arm angle. Slow-tempo type pitcher who uses easy effort. Consistent balance point. Curveball (64-65 mph), changeup (67-68 mph).Threw his fastball 80-83 mph.

6-foot-1, 200-pound athletic body frame. On the mound he throws with regular effort to his delivery and a vertical leg lift landing in a straight line at foot strike. Has quick arm speed through a ¾ slot. Fastball was mostly true through the zone ranging from 83-84 mph. Curveball has sharpness to it with some late bite and good depth on an 11/5 plane between 69-71 mph. Changeup is deceiving and throws it with good arm speed at 76-77 mph. In the infield he has fluid footwork approaching the baseball fielding with softer hands out in front of his body. Has good enough arm strength to stay on the left side of the infield reaching a velocity of 80 mph. Right-handed hitter starts from an open stance using a short leg lift to initiate his lower half before landing back to even at foot strike. Swings with a mostly leve bat path through the zone. Showed the ability to hit the ball to both sides of the field during his round of BP while reaching an exit velocity of 89 mph. Ran a 7.43 60-yard dash.

Body Type: 6-foot, 185-pound frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: A drop and drive lower half with a smooth and quick arm action. Good feel for the mound.
Fastball: 76-79mph. Slight glove side movement that tended to be left up in the zone sometimes.
Curveball: 65-67mph. Tight spin with late break on a 11/5 plane for a solid offering.
Changeup: 69-72mph. Solid offering that has slightly slower spin with arm side drop. Will induce soft contact keeping hitters off balance.
Pitchability: Strike thrower.
Body Type: 6-foot, 185-pound frame. Swing Mechanics: Right-handed hitter with a simple, quiet load, Hit: Physical bat that doesn;t get cheated up there. Long lever type that can do damage when he gets extended. Generates natural ball flight to the middle/opposite field. Power: 82.4 mph off the bat in BP. Offensive Projection: Middle of the lineup frame and skill set.
Field: Remains under control through fielding sequence. Ball skills are on par for his class.
Throw: Throws over the top, and gets good carry on all of his throws. Good arm strength.
Defensive Projection: Corner infield.
