Good, projectable frame at 6-foot-2, 186-pounds. Projects as a corner outfield type. Best tool is his bat. LHH with athletic stance. Uses a short stride. Line drive production with pull tendencies to his swing. Needs to continue working on using the entire field. Top exit velocity of 90 mph. Likely a left fielder at the next level. Slingy type arm action from 3/4 arm slot. Top velocity of 83 mph on his throws. Needs to develop more aggressive approach to the ball. Ran a 7.13 60.
10/27/13
6-foot, 190-pound prospect. Physically strong, athletic player with solid raw skills. Ran 7.06 60 yard dash with 84 mph arm strength. Throws from outfield will enhance further with proper throwing base (crow-hop and over the top hand release). Shows quick hand speed into hitting zone (86 mph bat exit velo) with level bat path plane. Needs improvement on clearing front side hip in swing with enhanced lower body torque.
2/10/13
The left-handed hitting and throwing prospect shows good strength and size at 6-foot, 175-pounds. He uses an upright, power stance with a chest level trigger and some upper cut in his swing path. He showed good bat speed (82 mph exit velocity off the tee) and power, which will only be enhanced with better use of his lower half. He displays solid arm strength with a top velocity of 83 mph and a 4.37 home to first time.
