This simple approach allows him to stay short and compact to the ball and consistently find the barrel. Exit velocity was 78 mph. In the infield he fields the ball deep, funneling the ball into the middle of his body. Through a high-3/4 slot he showed 72 mph arm strength across the diamond. On the mound he used a fast tempo and had good direction to home plate. Through a high-3/4 slot his fastball sat 71-75 with arm side run at times. Curveball had gradual break with an 11/5 shape at 65-66 mph. Flashed a 64-66 mph changeup with some depth.
