Caleb Hadley: C/3B, (2024) Warren JFK, OH. 6-foot-2, 215-pound. (70.8 mph bat speed average). (20.5 mph hand speed average). Starts in an athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a quick stride. Bat speed was quick, showed a simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. While catching, his best position velocity throwing to second was registered at 77 mph; has sure hands, consistent feet, and a natural transfer. showed his ability to throw runners out with an efficient pop time of 1.94-1.99. Quiet setup with some flexibility. Had a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. Clocked a time of 7.5 in the 60-yard dash.
8/08/20
Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Uses a smooth loading sequence that creates both balance and energy. Worked both gaps in BP, showing feel for the barrel. Power: Line drive pop in general with flashes of gap abilities. Offensive Projection: Table setter. Max BP Exit Velocity: 83mph. Max BP Distance: 296ft. Field: Good athlete with fluid actions and quality ball skills over at third base. Also worked out behind the dish where he showed one of the top arms we saw at the event. Expect pop times to easily improve as exchange abilities/feet speed up with maturity. Throw: Clean arm through a high-3/4 slot. Defensive Projection: C/3B.
