Carson French: RHP, (2023) Lakota East, OH. Cincinnati Commit, 6-foot-1, 190-pound. Solid on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a quick arm action while showing some arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed strong balance point with downhill shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 87-88 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2288; Avg 2148). He has some fading action on his changeup (80-82). His 10/4 slider (74-75) showed late action. (Max spin 1956; Avg 1886).
