Begins in an athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, showed a level swing plane and balanced finish. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 76 mph; shows sure hands, consistent feet, and a natural exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Had a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.69. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1951; Avg 1845). Threw a 11/5 curveball with gradual action. (Max spin 1934; Avg 1848).
