Cody DeLaet: OF/RHP, (2025) Bethel, OH. 5-foot-11, 150-pound. Began in a balanced stance with a compact load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed is efficient, exhibits a simple flat swing plane and high finish. Solid recorded an outfield position velocity of 72 mph; had sure hands, a natural exchange, and consistent footwork. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Had a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.22. On the mound, used a compact arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 1650; Avg 1530). Throws a 10/4 curveball with gradual action. (Max spin 1832; Avg 1808).
