A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. A contact type guy with a compact, line drive swing. His vertical barrel start allows him to generate bat speed while finding plane. Path is level showing developing natural tools through the zone. Behind the dish he creates solid direction with his feet. Exchange skills are average and he should easy increases in pop times as arm strengthens with maturity.
5-foot-9, 145 pound right-handed infielder has an inside-out, uphill path that did an okay job getting through the zone to make contact. Stager showed good rotation in his lower half, but there is still more left to exhibit as he continues to add size. He recorded a 76 mph velocity which was average for the players at the event. He could increase his contact and overall swing by getting more from his top hand as the bottom seems to be in control. Stager defensively had good footwork and mobility getting to the ball. He needs to focus on getting the glove down early, extended and fielding the ball out front as he lets it get too deep on him. Made some accurate throws across the diamond at 64 mph.

Ran a 7.88 60-yard dash. A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a simple loading sequence, letting his natural tools go to work. Swing is compact on a level plane. Bat shows quickness through the zone and strength is displayed at contact. A contact guy presently with flashes of gap potential. Would be aided by using lower half more efficiently. Topped out at 72 mph off the tee. In the infield he moves light on his feet, reacting well off the bat. Tends to field from heels on plays in funnel. Ball skills are above average and he looked comfortable moving laterally. Threw across the diamond with 60 mph arm strength. Behind the dish he recorded pop times of 2.25-2.41, and showed 65 mph arm strength to second base.
