Notes

Comments

7/10/19

Body Type: 6-foot-3, 185-pound frame.
Swing Mechanics: Right-handed hitter that starts in a taller stance. Fluid load with athletic movements.
Hit: Mostly level stroke with some loft. Nice combination of burst and feel for contact. Squared up balls with some authority in BP. Expect much more as he fills out athletic, projectable frame. All fields hitter.
Power: 88.4 of the bat in BP. Much more to come.
Offensive Projection: Run producer potential.

Field:  Aggressive feet in his approach prior to play through. Ball skills good for his class.

Throw:   Over the top with loose arm action.  Throws with intent, and has long levers that work to create good carry on his throws.

Defensive Projection:  Corner outfield.

Body Type: 6-foot-3, 185-pound projectable frame.

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Quick tempo delivery that is compact and fluid. Uses a short arm action working out of a low-3/4 slot.

Fastball: Fastball was easy out of the hand at 76-79 mph with more velocity to come. The pitch has regular sink and run action.

Curveball: Breaking ball has a slurvy 11/5 action, flashed some sharpness at times while sitting 61-65 mph.
Pitchability: Threw strikes. Nice feel for both pitches, breaking ball shape varied at times.
