6-foot-3, 185-pound. Brian Hand pitching prospect with an average build. Delivery works at a slow to moderate pace, strong lower half. Uses a short arm action working through a high three-quarter slot. Fastball sat 78 to 80 mph with slight sinking action. Paired the fastball with an 11 to 5 shape curveball that has gradual break at 65 to 67 mph. Also offered a 71 to 72 mph change up the shows slight fading action.
6/5/18: 6-foot-3, 185 pound RHP pitches from high 3/4 arm slot. Delivery is repeatable but did rush at times, quick tempo to the plate. Showed a long arm stroke with good balance throughout delivery. Stays in line to the plate and finishes in athletic position. FB flashed cut action at 78-81, also flashed up and down CB with late action and bite at 66-69.
