A subby guy on the bump. Kurtz has feel for the slot and was consistently in the zone with three quality offerings. Fastball shows heavy asr and sink at 68-70 mph. Changeup has similar action to fastball with enough of a velocity to change to get hitters off balance 63-66 mph. Slider moves across the plate with big action at 59-63 mph. With his combination of deception and feel he is a very tough matchup for righties.
