7.27.17 - VMI commit. Left-handed hitting outfielder with a strong athletic frame. Balanced, slightly open setup at the plate. Short, uphill swing path with a fast bat. Drove a ball deep to centerfield in first plate appearance. 4.76 on the turn.

3.30.17: Quiet, balanced set up. Smooth, short load at the plate. Quick bat with a barrel that stays through the zone. Uses field well. Quiet competitor. Covered ground well in the outfield, versatile enough to play any of the outfield positions.

9.29.16 - Uncommitted. Balanced set up at the plate. Level swing path and peppered ball up middle. Simple set up at plate and hand work well with good bat speed. Moves well in the outfield and has some life on throws. Ran a 7.00 60-yard dash.

8.4.16 - Don Goodes increased his stock after the Future Games. The athletic outfielder shows the ability to play any of the outfield positions and throws had some carry on them up to 87 mph. Hits from a balanced setup at the plate with a simple load. Short swing path with quick hands and nice extension through contact. Exit velocity of 89 mph and ran a 7.19 60-yard dash.

3.24.16:  Goodes is an athletic outfielder who is quick and takes good routes on balls. He has an over the top arm slot that is loose with an above average arm with good carry on his throws. He has a clean, quick release. At the plate, Goodes hits from the left side from an athletic stance with good lower half and good balance throughout his swing. He is very quick to the ball, with a line drive swing and a pull approach.
