6/6/17
A right-handed hitter that starts in a crouched, open setup. Hands starts high and work down prior to launch. Path is mostly level with some quickness to his bat. Consistently found the barrel in batting practice, producing line drives to the middle of the field. In the infield he flashed advanced glove skills. Mechanically clean with fluidity to his actions. Lateral mobility will need to continue to get better to stay on the left-side of the infield.

5/31/17
At the plate he starts in an athletic setup. Uses a small leg kick to initiate loading sequence. Hands starts and stay in a strong position prior to launch. Path is level with obvious strength through contact. Produced line drives to both sides of the field in batting practice. Flashed very impressive glove skills in the infield. Actions are athletic and he plays with confidence. Arm will be the determining factor on which side of the infield he ends up at as he has the glove to stay at shortstop.

2/1/17
At the plate he starts open prior to his leg kick load and controlled stride. Hands move back fluidly. Stays smooth and under control throughout his swing sequence. Has the natural tools to hit in the middle of the order. Gap to gap pop at this stage. A rangy infielder with a third baseman’s body and shortstop skills set. Checks all the boxes for a middle infielder. Glove skills were impressive in his funnel and on the move. The most talented infielder we saw on the day.

Exit Velocity: 76
