At the plate the righty starts in a balanced setup. Uses a toe turn timing mechanism while taking hands back to launch. Barrel travels on a downhill path to contact, showing strength and twitch to hands. A line drive type guy who showed the ability to square balls up to both fields. In the infield he takes direct routes to the baseball, cutting distance of the bat. Feet show some fluidity with developing quickness. Hands are soft and glove is reliable inside funnel. Really liked what I saw from Nagy in the infield. Plays very fast without sacrificing his mechanics. Creates angles and plays through the ball with confidence. Glove works well in and out of funnel. Solid defender with enough combination of arm strength and transfer quickness to stay on the left side. Behind the dish he starts in a lower crouch, showing flexibility to hips. Gets out of stance well with feet creating direction while gaining ground. Exchange skills are average to slightly above average. Showed the ability to throw from knees as well.
