On the mound, the right-handed pitching prospect brings an athletic, muscular build. Offers a faster paced wind-up as he come to his balance point. Stays tall throughout his windup and into a low downhill drive delivery. Creates solid energy from a slight lean back and back hip pinch into his delivery. Stays true through the zone with slight arm side action. Fastball works best when located well and a solid setup pitch for his offspeed. Offspeed consists of two different breaking balls. The curveball spins at an 11/5 path and has solid break. Also offers a slider that compliments his two other pitches and has solid break that darts across the plate away from right-handed hitters. Natural tools are above average and he swings with intent. Path is slightly uphill giving him loft power to his pull side. Shows all the signs of a middle of the lineup guy at the next level. Behind the plate he has an ideal frame for the position. Exchange was clean and arm action works. Would like to see him stay lower as he gets out of his crouch. Throws were consistently on the bag.
