Evan Weyler: C/1B, (2022) St. Xavier, OH. 6-foot-5, 180-pound projectable frame. Projectable during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 90 mph. Started in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then used a controlled stride. Has above average bat speed, an inside-out swing plane and level finish. In his round he found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. Smooth while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 76 mph; showed athletic feet, and sure hands. While catching, he made strong throws to second and produced an efficient position velocity of 79 mph; has sure hands, athletic feet, and a fluid exchange. had quick feet and transfers on his throw downs, recording a 1.96-2.08 pop time. Had athletic setup. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.19.
