6/19/18
A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Loading sequence is simple and repeatable, Triggers from a balanced position prior to showing a nice, level path through the zone. High effort swing with noticeable strength to hands at contact. Generates present gap pop with backspin ability to the middle of the field. Physical frame behind the dish. Mid crouch with a strong base. Feet are quick with a slight fade to third base line during exchange. Arm plays as an above average tool w/carry and accuracy. Transfer is smooth but has room to quicken up.

6/13/18

A righty swinger that starts in an athletic stance. Load is simple, yet efficient. Takes hands slightly back during short stride forward, balanced launch, short/compact stroke. Strength is slightly ahead of bat speed but both tools project out as above average. Laced line drives to pull side in BP. Behind the dish he showed both quickness to feet and transfer. Arm action is unique for the spot but ball gets there on target. Pop times will lower as arm strengthens.

2/13/18

A physical bat from the right-side. Loading sequence is simple and repeatable. Launches form a balanced setup and takes a mostly level path to the baseball. Can get around the ball at times but swing produces easy backspin when he stays inside. Strength stands out as his top tool in the box. Could grow into a run producer type as bat speed catches up to strength. Frame fits the catcher position. Starts in a higher crouch prior to getting into his transfer. Feet are fluid as he squares himself to second base. Tends to drift towards the third base line. Exchange skills are smooth. Arm has some whip to it projecting for more strength.

Pop Times: 2.1-2.25

Catcher Velocity: 73

Exit Velocity: 84
