A lefty swinger that incorporates a leg kick load to create solid energy into contact. Hands stay fluid prior to launch. Showed well above average strength and bat speed. Has the ability to drive the ball into the gap with authority. Doesn’t get cheated on his hacks. In the infield he showed efficient footwork but would like to see him play lower. Glove skills are adequate at this stage. Has a three pitch mix while working through a high-¾ slot. Arm has some quickness to it and he sat 78-82 mph with his fastball. He was consistently in the zone with the pitch showing the ability to work both sides of the plate. Breaking ball had solid depth on a near 12/6 plane, coming in at 67-69 mph. Also flashed a changeup while keeping fastball arm speed.

5-foot-11, 185-pound athletic body frame. On the mound he uses a slight hip load and uses regular effort to his delivery. He lands more closed at foot strike, carrying his momentum toward home plate. He throws with a longer arm action, with some quickness to his arm speed, through a ¾ slot. His fastball has some arm-side run thrown between 77-81 mph. His curveball has good depth, with gradual break at an 11/5 plane between 66-70 mph.

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Good rhythm/tempo to a delivery that requires little effort. Slight wrist curl in the back before coming through a high-3/4 slot.
Fastball: 80-84 mph with mostly true action through the zone. Could see more velocity in the tank.
Slider: 11/5 big shape to it. Comparable combination of depth and action to it. Darts in the zone at 70-72 mph.
Changeup: Showed sparingly throughout his inning of work but looked to be playable when he did. 77 mph.
Pitchability: Strike thrower.
