Hit: Smooth, athletic stroke from the right side. Compact swing with a level path to contact. Line drive flight to all fields in BP.
Power: Flashed gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles.

Field: Stood out for the accuracy aspect of his game behind the dish. Whether it was game or in a showcase setting all the throws had zip, carry, and were right on the bag. Solid defender behind the dish.
Throw: Combination of strength/accuracy make his arm grade as an above average tool.
Defensive Projection: C.
Body Type: 5-foot-8, 135-pound thin frame.
Swing Mechanics: Smooth load with a short stride.
Hit: Level bat path that results in line drives. Middle-back approach. Balanced nautral tools through the zone.
Power: Line drive guy with flashes of gap abilities. Just needs to develop and add size.
Offensive Projection: TBD.
Field: Smooth actions behind the dish. Recorded respectable pop times that will only get better as he twitches up.
Throw: Clean arm with above average strength and mostly accurate.

5-foot-8, 135-pound two-way prospect. On the mound, features an effortless delivery that remains consistent through all of his pitches. Fastball sits 75-79 mph. His secondary pitches were thrown with the same arm speed as his fastball. CB shows 10/4 tilt at 65-69 mph and a CH with late drop and arm-side run at 66-67 mph. With such a small frame, Kauser shows much more in the tank as he matures and continues to put on size. Versatile defender that showed an above average skill set in the infield and behind the dish. In the infield, he plays light on his feet, reacting well off the bat. Attacks the baseball linearly, cutting distance off the bat. Would be aided by creating angles with feet prior to fielding. Showed above average glove skills for class. Behind the dish he has quickness to both feet and transfer. Throws were on the bag with above average strength. At the plate he swings it from the right side starting in an athletic stance. Fluid, efficient load that leads to a balanced launch. Has a knack for finding the barrel generating natural ball flight and sneaky pop for his frame.

A solid all-around player who’s athleticism really shows defensively. Behind the dish he had the top pop times of the day at 2.06-2.15. Footwork is clean and transfer skills were impressive. At third base he moves very well linearly and laterally. Hands are soft and glove works in and out of his funnel. Arm is clean with enough strength to stay on the left side at this stage. At the plate he has room to grow mechanically but the tools are there, with both strength and bat speed showing as above average tools. Presently shows line drive abilities but should grow into a routine gap threat as he matures. Kauser is also a define arm to follow. The right-hander is mechanically efficient with a clean, on time arm. Combine that with his efficient mechanics/above average arm speed and a velocity jump is more than likely in the near future. Presently sits 70-74 mph with his fastball that has late life, especially when down in the zone. Spins a tight, 11/5 shaped breaking ball that has potential to grow into a well above average offering. Completing his repertoire on the bump is his above average changeup that shows late fade at 63-64 mph.
