Delivery Notes: Has a powerful lower half that lands slightly closed off with a firm front side. Has a higher ¾ arm slot that is quick through the zone. Athlete has a good frame to continue developing with.
Fastball: 79-81mph with a 1700-1900rpm spin rate.
Curveball: 67-69mph with a 1900-2100rpm spin rate with 11-5 movement. Breaking ball has pace w/power potential.
Changeup: 73-75mph CH gets good fade w/arm sell.
2/17/19 Pitching
Body Type: 6-foot 180-pound left-handed pitching prospect with an average build.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Delivery is fluid. Uses a hip load and creates some tilt while working down the mound. Uses a short arm action working through a high-3/4 slot.
Fastball: 74-77 mph fastball works on a downward plane with regular run to the arm side.
Curveball: 64-66 mph curveball has good spin working on a 2/8 tilt flashing some sharpness at times.
Changeup: 69-72 mph changeup is thrown with deceptive arm action. The pitch has slight sink and run through the zone.
Pitchability: Offers a true three pitch mix. Showed ability to work the fastball to both sides of the plate. Breaking ball slots with the fastball and shows potential to be swing and miss pitch. Changeup is a playable pitch.
Role: Has good enough stuff and feel to start at the high school level.
