Starts in a tall, athletic setup at the plate. Goes with a smooth leg lift for his timing trigger. Hands move back at release creating balance and separation. Path is level and strength is apparent in his swing. A gap to gap type guy who has the ability to leave the yard. Possesses a solid frame for the first base position. Has feel around bag and moves well laterally for frame. Glove is an above average tool for the spot.

Uses quick footwork off the bag at first. Has feel for the position with average to above average ball skills. Fields the ball well, out in front of his body. Does a nice job of playing low. At the plate the right-hander starts in a balanced setup. An ambush type guy that launches from his front side. A strong kid who takes a mostly level path to the baseball. Swings with intent to do damage. Ball jumps off his bat, showing routine gap pop. Middle of the lineup potential.

5-foot-10, 210-pound strong build. The first baseman has some strength and batspeed to his swing. Starting from a wider, balanced stance he uses a a toe turn/ short stride combo for timing and has quick hands that he gets through the zone on a slightly uphill path. Should see his 85 mph exit velocity easily improve once he learns to use his lower half in his swing. In the infield he moves decently off the bag and threw across the diamond with 73 mph arm strength. Improved footwork will help him play lower and be able to field the ball out in front of his body more consistently. Ran a 7.72 60-yard dash.
