(19.4 mph hand speed average). Started in an open tall stance with a controlled load, then used a short small stride. Bat speed was explosive, displayed a short swing plane and balanced finish. Was able to create some loud contact and found lots of barrels. Aggressive approach. Advanced while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 79 mph; showed a quick exchange, sure hands, and smooth consistent feet. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a quick firm arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.77. Smooth projectable on the mound, showed a ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action with good arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Balance point is tall with even shoulders during delivery. Lands square with recoil finish. Sat with his fastball at 77-80 mph; shows slight running action and both sides of the plate command with straight movement. (Max spin 2215; Avg 2060). His 2/8 curveball (65-67) had command around the zone and sweeping action. (Max spin 2292; Avg 2276). Throws a flat changeup (70-71) with gradual action and down in the zone control.
