6/06/17

A young, talented arm in the 2020 class. Frame is very projectable at 6-foot-5 and room to add strength. Arm action is long with well above arm speed for his age. Works through an over the top slot and sits 80-84 mph with his fastball. Still developing feel for his 68-69 mph breaking ball. The pitch moves on an 11/5 plane with signs of being a very good offering as he gains command of it more frequently.

5/31/17
A talented young arm on the mound. Works exclusively from the stretch. Creates efficient energy with his lower half. Arm action is clean and delivery requires little effort. Works through a near over the top slot with his fastball working downhill at 81-85 mph. Breaking ball is tight working on an 11/5 plane. The offering comes in the zone at 69-70 mph. Has very good feel for his fastball and will be very dangerous once he develops more feel for his changeup.
1/28/17

On the mound, the 6-foot-4, 160-pound right-hander has a slower tempo to a delivery that requires little effort. Working through a high-¾ slot he was consistently in the zone with his 71-77 mph fastball. Showed the ability to run and cut the pitch.  His best off speed pitch is his 55-57 mph breaking ball. The pitch has gradual break with an 11/5 shape. Still developing feel for his changeup. Tends to slow arm speed as changeup sits 55-57 mph.
