8/6/17
At the plate the righty starts in a taller setup. Loading sequence is fluid and efficient. Path is level with developing natural tools. Showed feel for the barrel and used an all field approach. Line drive type swing. Flashed some gap pop. Bat looks to play at the top of the lineup. Very impressive in the outfield. Actions are very athletic and he plays with obvious confidence. Plays one-handed through the baseball with well advanced ball skills. Arm strength suggest best fit is in left or center field.
60-yard dash: 7.6
Outfield Velocity: 74
Exit Velocity: 78
7/12/17
A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Barrel launches from a vertical position. Creates energy in his lower half through a knee pinch and well timed weigh shift. Path is slightly downhill with some whip through the zone. Bat speed is average and he stays through contact very well. Consistently found the barrel in BP, producing line drives routinely. Should grow into more pop as he fills out his projectable frame. From the outfield, his fielding mechanics are clean. Fields the ball outside of his body on his glove side foot. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot with developing arm speed.
60-yard dash: 7.36
Outfield Velocity: 70
Exit Velocity: 80
6/13/16
5-foot-11, 145-pound athletic frame. At the plate he starts in a balanced setup before using a double tap load and short stride. Hands move slightly back during his stride before taking a flat path to the ball. Could use more lower half. Average batspeed at this stage. Registered an exit velocity of 77 mph and ran a 4.81 down the line. Has solid footwork in the outfield, showing the ability to play through the baseball. Needs to finish his throws. Threw to home plate with 66 mph arm strength.
