A right-handed pitching prospect in the 2018 class. Delivery requires regular effort and he works through a high-¾ slot. Fastball is mostly straight through the zone at 82-84 mph. Needs to be in the zone more often with the offering. Spins a true 12/6 breaking ball with decent depth at 69-72 mph. The pitch is a well above average offering and Meter uses it as his put away pitch. Also showed a change-up at 77-78 mph.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound righty has noticeably put in the work this winter in the weight room, and this has translated onto the mound where Meter now sits in the upper-80s. Will get a full report in-game action this spring.
6-foot-2, 205-pound strong frame. Smooth rhythm in his delivery that requires regular effort. Comes to a tall balance point at the top of his delivery before striding to the plate. Good direction to the plate, landing on line at foot strike. Throws from a high-¾ slot with average arm speed. Fastball sat 82-84 mph. Curveball sat 70-73 mph with the changeup sitting 76 mph.

Meter has a strong 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame. He has an upright stance and wide feet. He uses a leg kick and has his hands far back before driving his barrel through the hitting zone with a slightly uphill swing. His exit velocity was 82 mph and he ran a 7.80 60-yard dash. Behind the plate, his footwork is short and he works around the ball with a low transfer. His pop times were 2.09-2.16 and he had a velocity of 77 mph down to second base. On the mound, he throws from an over-the-top arm slot and has a short, quick arm action. His fastball sat 80-84 mph with some downhill action when down in the zone. His curveball has sharp 11/5 break to it with good depth and sat 72-76 mph. His changeup had some fade at 77-79 mph.
3.8.2015 6-foot-1, 173-pound prospect. ¾ arm action with clean repeatable mechanics. Fastball showed arm side run at 76-78 mph. Curveball showed some good action at 64-68 mph. Changeup with arm side sink at 70-71 mph.
