Jacob Brubaker: OF/SS, (2025) Walsh Jesuit, OH. 6-foot, 165-pound physical athletic build. (65.9 mph bat speed average). (20.3 mph hand speed average). Started in a wide balanced stance with a tight controlled load, then used a short small leg kick. Bat speed is explosive, shows an uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found lots of barrels with tons of loud contact. Aggressive approach. Capable projectable from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 72 mph; has smooth consistent feet, a clean fluid exchange, and sure hands. Fielded the ball to the side out front with athletic movement laterally. Showed consistent accuracy to the base with a high ¾ slot and a very quick arm action.
OF/SS, (2025) Walsh Jesuit, OH. 5-foot-10, 153-pound. At the plate, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 90 mph. (66.0 mph bat speed average). (21.5 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a compact load, then uses a controlled quick stride. Had a simple uphill swing plane, quick bat speed and balanced finish. Solid in the infield, displayed a velocity of 74 mph; had a natural exchange, consistent sure hands, and quick footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.32.
