Hit:Left-handed hitter that starts in a tall, open setup. Goes with a leg kick/bat tip combination to loading sequence. Athletic mover in the box. Works inside the baseball, generating middle-back ball flight in BP. Natural tools are balanced, offering a similar combination of strength and speed.
Power:Flashed gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Multiple roles.
Max BP Exit:86 mph
Max BP Distance:255 ft
Field:In the outfield he plays under control with athletic, fluid actions. Smooth tempo throughout. Ball skills are ahead of the curve for class.
Throw:Very accurate thrower with respectable strength.
Defensive Projection:Multiple spots.

Scouting Notes:Good athlete on the mound. Everything looks fluid and easy. Arm is clean/on time. Could see another jump in there.
Fastball:77-79 mph.
Fastball Spin Rate:1980-2004
Curveball:64-68 mph, SL 68-72 mph.

2/23/20 Position Player
Hit: Left handed hitter. Begins with an athletic, slightly open base, which transitions into a simple loading sequence. Upper and lower body work well together, to go along with a slight leg kick for timing purposes.Level path through the zone which produced several line drives to the middle of the field.
Power: 83 mph tee ev. Flashed gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup
Field: Worked out as an OF. Solid athletic ability to go along with sufficient actions. Efficient footwork and soft hands.
Throw: 76 mph arm from the outfield. Developing arm strength.
Defensive Projection: OF. 

2/23/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: Left handed pitcher. Slow fluid tempo during delivery, with a high leg kick and developing lower leg drive. Clean arm action from a ¾ arm slot.
Fastball: 76-78mph.Fastball is true through the zone. Velocity will increase with physical maturity.
Breaking Ball: 68-69mph.1/7 movement with gradual break.
Changeup: 70-72mph. Was able to maintain consistent arm action, with subtle fade.

Body Type: 5-foot 9, 150-pound athletic projectable frame
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Athleticism shoes on the bump as the southpaw prospect works through a high tempo, low effort delivery. High leg kick, low drive type of guy with a near ¾ delivery. Clean arm action with a slight fall of to the third base side following delivery.
Fastball: 73-76mph. Runs the fastball in there consistently in the mid 70s, topping at 76. Fastball stays straight through the zone. 1700-1900 rpms with above average spin rate sitting in the mid 90s.
Curveball: 63-64mph. The curve mixes well with his fastball and keeps hitters guessing. Above average second offering with promise to develop more as the prospect matures. 1/7 break with dradual break.

Slider: 65-67mph. Slider shakes it up amongst his other two offerings. The second offspeed option displays a 3/9 break with a tighter, sharper break path. The slider comes in at a slightly higher velo offering a solid change in pace.
Pitchability: With the development of offspeed pitches, the southpaw has potential to mature and grow his abilities on the mound. Watch for continued growth in velo and athleticism on the bump.

 

Body Type:  5-foot-9, 150-pound thin and athletic frame.

Swing Mechanics:  Small leg kick with a smooth load into his back leg.  Everything gets in sync well.

Hit:  Level bat path that goes to all fields, but mainly a middle-back approach. Great feel in the box.

Power:  Flashed gap to gap with more to come.

Offensive Projection:  Top of the lineup guy.
Field: Good athlete over at first base who can pick it a bit. Covers a lot of ground over there. Looks the part.
Throw: Clean arm with more strength on its way.
Defensive Projection: 1B. 


2/14/19

Body Type: 5-foot-9, 150-pound athletic frame.

Swing Mechanics: Balanced, open stance. Incorporates fluid, athletic movements to loading sequence.

Hit: Short, compact swing with a bit more present quickness than strength. Swing plays to all fields, showing feel for the barrel. Solid round.

Power: 78 mph exit velocity. Line drive swing with more to come.

Offensive Projection: Top of Lineup.

Run: 4.56 H-1st.

Field: Worked out in the outfield and at first base. In the outfield he plays under control with fluidity to his actions. Ball skills are solid. Brings above average athleticism to the first base position and it shows off the bag. Ball skills are still developing.

Throw: 71 mph arm strength across the diamond and 73 mph strength to home plate. Long, loose arm that will add easy strength with maturity.

Defensive Projection: LF/1B.

 

2/14/19 Pitching

Body Type: 5-foot-9, 150 pounds. Taller, thin frame.

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Showed a shorter, clean arm action in his delivery coming out of a ¾ arm slot. Provides a steady tempo up to his high leck kick prior to extending downhill.

Fastball: 72-73 mph. Light arm-side run to it now and threw for strikes. Movement will progress as he gets stronger.

Curveball: 62-64 mph. Has a breaker that spin with 1-6 tilt. Arm speed changed on some for the better as bite was sharper later in round.

Changeup: 64-69 mph. Had glove-side run with some sink. Strikes thrown.

Slider: 67-69 mph. Movement with 3-7 break and tighter spin.

Pitchability: Presents nice life on his off-speed pitches. Thrown very well overall for his age. Upside to his abilities for sure especially as he grows into his body over the next couple years.

Role: TBD.
