Johnny Neal: RHP/SS, (2025) Orange, OH. 5-foot-10, 165-pound athletic projectable frame. (63.3 mph bat speed average). (19.6 mph hand speed average). Begins in a wide stance with a rhythmic load, then uses a small leg kick. Has quick efficient bat speed, level uphill swing plane and balanced finish. Found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Advanced in the infield, his best throw was registered at 84 mph; has quick fluid feet, sure hands, and a clean natural exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Used athletic slot with a short very quick arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Advanced on the mound, showing good consistent arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle and a longer clean arm action. Stretch only type pitcher who shows some effort. He has uphill shoulders and a low strong balance point. Lands open with an athletic recoil finish. Changeup (70-74 mph), slider (70-71 mph). Produced a fastball that came in at 83-84 mph. (Max spin 2026; Avg 1898).

Bat speed is efficient, displays a simple upward swing plane and balanced finish. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 81 mph; had sure hands, consistent footwork, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.23. Solid on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1892; Avg 1771). Shows some action on his 11/5 curveball. (Max spin 2037; Avg 1937). Throws a 10/4 slider with late action. (Max spin 1754; Avg 1725).

Starts in an athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed was average, and had a simple flat swing plane. Solid in the infield, displayed a velocity of 80 mph; had sure hands, a natural exchange, and athletic developing footwork. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Clocked a time of 7.3 in the 60-yard dash. .
