McDonough

McDonough has been recognized as one of the top catcher's in the State of Ohio since early in his high school career. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound backstop issued an early verbal commitment to The Ohio State University during his sophomore year. That summer, he was selected to the East Coast Pro over a number of highly regarded upperclassmen catchers due to his highly regarded catch and receive skills as well as his bat. During his junior year, McDonough was diagnosed with Hodgkins Disease cancer. After nearly a year of treatment, McDonough is healthy, back in school full time, and training for the next level.
