The 6-foot, 192-pound prospect has short arm action but does a good job finishing his pitches. He throws from a ¾ arm slot but doesn’t use much of his lower half due to a short stride. His fastball was thrown at 72-77 mph. His curveball was thrown at 59-67 mph and showed 12/6 tilt to it. The range in velocity goes to show that if he could consistently get more from his lower half, there is more velocity to gain. Defender effectively uses direct angles to the ball. Glove skills present with a clean tunnel into ¾ slot with short arm action. Field to throw process is quick and clean. A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall stance. Uses a leg kick for timing while hands flow slightly back to launch. Physical kid with a downhill path to contact. Strength is top tool but bat speed is respectable. Swing has intent/doesn’t get cheated up there. Line drive pop with occasional gap abilities.
