Hit: Lefty hit tool to follow. All the tools are there. Good athlete with burst through the zone. Hammered balls to the middle of the field in BP. Power: Easy gap abilities. Offensive Projection: Run producer ceiling. Max BP Exit Velocity: 91 mph Max BP Distance: 318 ft Field: Moves well out there. Shows some feel for his feet and ball skills are serviceable. Also worked out at first base where he has well above average athleticism for the spot. Impressive skill set over there. Solid showing. Throw: Loose arm that generates easy jump out of the hand. Above average strength with more to come. Defensive Projection: Corner Outfield.

2/23/20 Position Player Hit: Lefty hitter with a tall slender frame. Starts with a slightly crouched open stance. Utilizes a subtle leg kick with a slow tempo load, in which he gets into his back leg/hip well. Good quick hands with an uphill bat path. Power: 87 tee ev. Present gap abilities. Offensive Projection: Run producer traits
2/17/19
Body Type: 6-foot-2, 180 pound athletic frame with room to add. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Throws from high ¾ arm slot with above average arm speed. Loads into the lower half well and uses that load to throw with good intent. Fastball: 80-82 mph. In and out of zone, but fastball showed life through the zone with arm side run. Curveball: 68-70 mph. 11-5 shape with good depth. Above average pitch. Changeup: 66-68 mph. Developing pitch that was thrown with good fastball arm speed. Pitchability: Fastball was in and out of zone, but showed plenty of life and good arm side run. Breaking ball showed tight, late break that should induce plenty of swing and misses. Change-up is thrown with fastball arm speed, but is still developing. Additional Comments: High follow in the ‘21 class. Shows present above average athleticism that when paired with increased strength should see velocity pop.
Swing Mechanics: Hits from a balanced, open stance in the box. Hands were quick showing an uphill bat path with good activation from him lower half in swing. Hit: Great contact overall producing many barrels in his round. Power: 83 mph exit velocity. Pop present in swing. More to come. Offensive Projection: Multiple roles. Run: 7.39 60-yard. Field: Max effort guys shown as he attacks the baseball with his glove. Fielded it nicely with nice actions for a ‘21. More to come with his size. Throw: 87 mph from the outfield displaying arm strength. Defensive Projection: Outfield - All three potentially

A lefty swinger that has a run producer look to him. Incorporates big movements to his loading sequence that when synced up create a ton of energy into contact. Beachler’s combination of strength and bat speed stand out through the zone. An all fields hitter with some of the more impressive pop at the event. Will need to clean some things up mechanically moving forward but natural tools are loud.
