1/25/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: 6-foot-3, 195-pound physical presence. COntinues to get better and better each time we see him. Looks to be more mobile with added twitch from the summer. Arm works well. Upward velo trend should continue.
Fastball: Fills up the zone with the offering. Mostly true through the zone. Some arm side life. Topped at 85 mph.
Fastball Spin Rate: 2140-2210.
Curveball: Power breaking ball with impressive depth. More than enough action to miss barrels and flashed a few very impressive ones. 73-75 mph.
Curveball Spin Rate: 1950-2050.
Changeup: Playable third offering. Maintains arm speed on the pitch that has some late fade to it.
Pitchability: Filled it up.

1/26/20 Position Player
Hit: Physical bat from the right side. Flows through a bat tip, rhythmic movement during controlled stride. Much improved since last time we saw him. More physical with bat speed ticking up a bit. Could work his way into legit two-way consideration.
Power: Ball jumps. Legit power for class.
Offensive Projection: Middle of lineup.
Top Rapsodo BP Exit Velocity: 96 mph.
Top Rapsodo BP Distance: 395 ft.

Body Type: 6-foot1 187-pound athletic frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Tight and quick arm action. Lower half could be more efficient but still explosive. Keeps getting better and better each time we see him.
Fastball: 82-84mph. Live fastball with slight arm side movement. Average 2,100rpm spin rate with efficiency in the 90%.
Curveball: 74-76 mph. 11/5 movement with depth to it in the zone.
Pitchability: In the zone.
Additional Comments: Arm to watch develop. Good potential.

Body Type: 6-foot-1, 187-pound average frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Much better than we saw from him last year. You can see the delivery is much cleaner and he’s added some burst.
Fastball: 81-83 mph. Mostly true through the zone with the ability to work either side of the plate.
Curveball: 70-72 mph. 11/5 shaped offering with a nice combination of depth and sharpness to it. In the zone regularly. Well above average pitch.
Changeup: 74-75 mph. Developing offering.
Pitchability: Filled it up with fastball and breaking ball.

Body Type: 6-foot-1, 187-pound average frame.
Swing Mechanics: Balanced stance from the right side of the box. Uses a leg kick for timing as hands stay simple through pitch recognition and into swing decision.
Hit: Swings with intent on a path that shows natural loft. Path plays well, generating consistent line drives to the middle of the field.
Power: 90 mph exit velocity. Much more pop than frame would suggest. Landed on a few balls in BP.
Offensive Projection: Middle of Lineup Potential.
Run: 4.66 H-1st.
Field: Third baseman with the frame for the position. Aggressive defender that attacks the baseball off the bat. Ball skills are on par for class.
Throw: Showed 77 mph arm strength across the infield. Accurate/clean arm that will add more mphs with maturity.
Defensive Projection: Corner Guy.

At third base he uses direct footwork, cutting down distance off the bat. Plays fast and field the ball in the middle of his body. Displayed developing ball skills and above average lateral mobility. Would be aided by creating angles with his footwork prior to fielding to maintain momentum through the baseball. A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Goes with a leg kick for timing mechanism while taking hands slightly back to launch. Path is slightly downhill with barrel whip through the zone. Swing is compact, displaying line drive capabilities. Worked mostly through an inside out approach, spraying line drives to opposite field gap. On the mound, the long-limbed right-hander works at a quicker tempo. Lift works above the belt creates some tilt during the stride. Arm action is long working through a high-¾ slot with regular effort. Fastball was mostly straight sitting 73-75 mph. Shows feel for the breaking ball, the pitch has 11/5 shape and tight spin at 62-64 mph. Third offering was a 66-67 mph changeup with slight arm side run.

60-Yard Dash: 7.56
Infield Velocity: 71
Exit Velocity: 80

On the mound the right-hander has a fluid tempo to a delivery he is able to repeat. Does a nice job creating energy with his lower half. Works through an over the top slot with above average arm speed. Fastball works downhill at 70-72 mph. Spins two different breaking balls. Has more feel for his 11/5 shaped breaking ball that had some sharpness to it at 63-66 mph. Slider had sharper action and looks to be an out pitch as he develops feel. Also flashed a changeup at 66-68 mph. The pitch is an above average offering with late fade, maintaining fastball arm speed. A righty swinger that uses a leg kick to get things started. Hands move slightly back prior to launch. Path is level with definite quickness to his bat. Ball comes off his bat well and he was able to use the entire field, producing backspin the the opposite field. At third base he moves light on his feet and takes direct routes to the baseball. Fields from heels in the middle of his body. Moves well laterally and looked confident to his backhand. Above average athlete for the position. Glove skills are developing.

60-yard dash: 7.69
Infield Velocity: 72
Exit Velocity: 74
