Logan Walder: OF/OF, (2024) Rossford, OH. 5-foot-7, 155-pound athletic frame. (64.9 mph bat speed average). (18.8 mph hand speed average). Started in a crouched stance with a compact load, then used a small leg kick. Had a simple swing plane, electric bat speed and good extension on his finish. Found some barrels with a lot of loud contact. Aggressive approach. Confident from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 80 mph; has consistent feet, sure hands, and a clean natural exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed uninterrupted slot and a very quick arm action with decent accuracy to the bag. Advanced on the mound, had an over-the-top arm angle and a longer moderate arm action with good developing arm speed. Stretch only type pitcher who shows decent effort. Showed consistent strong balance point and in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic recoil finish. (Max spin 2040; Avg 1996).
Logan Walder: RHP/OF, (2024) Rossford, OH. 5-foot-7, 143-pound. In the box, Walder's best exit velocity was 84 mph. Started in an athletic quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Had a short simple swing plane, developing efficient bat speed and good extension on his finish. Solid in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 77 mph; has soft hands, choppy feet, and a clean exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Showed a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. Showed off his speed at the event, running a swift 6.96 60-yard dash. On the mound, using a compact arm action he showed consistent arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Sat with his fastball at 75-77 mph.
