A right-handed hitter that has fluid movements prior to launch. Path is mostly level, showing good strength to his hands at contact. Works through a middle/away approach, regularly back spinning balls to the opposite field gap. Movements have some room to clean up but he has some definite thump to his bat. An above average defender behind the plate. Starts in athletic crouch and does a nice job of presetting hips prior to throwing. Burst out of his stance quickly with good direction to his feet. Transfer is smooth and timely. Threw with accuracy to second base.

5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect. Behind the plate, he starts in a balanced stance. Footwork has some quickness to it. Transfer is clean and short. Throws with short arm action. Tendency to throw uphill at times. Pop times ranged between 2.06 to 2.13. Top velocity of 69 mph from the crouch. At the plate he creates impressive whip through the zone with the combination of loose hands and his vertical barrel. Bat has some quickness to it on an uphill plane. Squared balls up routinely in batting practice with impressive pop to his pull side.
