7/12/17
On the mound the southpaw has a fluid, repeatable delivery. Arm works well through a near high-¾ slot. Generates well above average arm speed. Fastball gets out of his hand well, showing late life. Tends to slow his arm a bit on his change but is able to put run and sink on the offering. Breaking ball was tight, showing solid depth as it moved on a 1/7 plane. Also showed a knuckleball that had some dance to it.

6-foot, 170-pound athletic body frame. From the outfield he has good footwork while approaching the baseball and is able to consistently field ground balls from his glove side. Throws with a clean arm action through a ¾ slot while recording a velocity of 83 mph from the outfield. A right-handed hitter that starts in a taller setup. Initiates loading sequence through a double tap. Hands stays simple and rhythmic until launch. Swing is compact with some quickness to his bat. Ball came off his bat well when he found the barrel. Top of the lineup guy that flashed gap to gap pop. Very smooth up tempo delivery that has fluidity in all his actions. Short arm action on the backside with some whip. Fastball comes out with some life at 77-79 mph.Slider is 10/4 and could potential be a tough pitch for both RHH and LHHs at 65-67 mph. Change up was mixed in 68-70 mph.
