8/12/18
In the infield he plays low with athletic actions. Receives the ball well out in front of his body. Could create more efficient angles with feet prior to fielding. Second/third baseman type. Above average athlete. Switch hitter at the plate. Starts in a balanced setup from the right side using a simple load prior to balanced launch. Compact stroke with more strength than speed through the zone. Line drive type that works the middle of the field. From the left he has a similar approach mechanically with much louder natural tools. Ball was flying of his bat to pull side gap. Likely hits from the left side in college where hit tool plays.

2/11/18

On the mound the right-hander has a low effort, repeatable delivery. Arm action is compact, working through a high-¾ slot. Fastball will show regular cut sitting, 74-77 mph, topping at 78 mph. Looked confident in his 65-67 mph breaking ball. Does a nice job of working down in the zone with the offering that has an 11/5 shape to it. Slider runs into curveball a bit with the added velocity giving it a bit more depth/sharpness than the curveball at 68-69 mph. Also tossed a changeup that was in and out of the zone at 70-72 mph. Switch hitter at the plate. Very similar mechanically from both sides. Although the right side is playable he has a much louder stick from the left. Hands show twitch through the zone with strength at contact. Generates gap to gap pop with impressive jump to pull side. In the infield he plays fast, with very aggressive feet. At times can get out of control and would be aided by adding rhythm to his feet. Hands work well and ball skills are on parr for class. Made outstanding play to forehand side.

6/21/17

A left-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Gets his foot down early. Takes hands back to a strong attack position. Bat has some quickness to it, working on a level path. Bat speed is there and he has more strength that frame would suggest. Showed feel for the barrel and used the whole field. Has a three-hole look to him. Recorded three hits in the game, including a double to the wall. In the infield he takes direct routes to the baseball. Footwork is clean and athletic. Glove skills are average at this stage. Showed a quick first step and above average lateral mobility.
