Body Type: 6-foot, 165-pound frame with room to add.
Swing Mechanics: Leg kick timing trigger with a rhythmic barrel throughout load and into swing decision.
Hit: Athletic swing with feel for contact. Sprayed it around the yard in BP. Natural tools are above average.
Power: Gap abilities. 87 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles.
Run: 7.65 60-yard dash.
Field: Continues to show a well above average skill set behind the dish. Solid receiving skills and he’s stood out every time we’ve seen him  catch/throw wise.
Throw: Ball jumps out of hand, popping below 2.0 regularly and as low as 1.89. 77 mph strength.
Defensive Projection: C.


Body Type:  6-foot, 160-pound thin and athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: 
Smooth and simple load into back leg.
Downhill bat path with true ball flight to the opposite field.
Flashes pop.  More to come as he develops. Present line drive guy with jump off the barrel.
Offensive Projection: 
Top of the lineup guy.
Plus receiver and blocker.
Good arm with a consistent release point resulting in efficient throws to second base.
Defensive Projection: 


Left-handed hitting catchers are premium and Steffen is a quality one. Very fluid athletic load, with rhythmic movements that create consistent energy. Impressive body control throughout swing process. Level path with both strength and speed to hands. Sprayed it to both gaps with a bit more intent/authority to pull side. Looked the part in BP. Also had a strong showing behind the dish. Rivaled Reed as the top defender of the day. An above average athlete back there that does all the little things well.

A well-rounded catching prospect in the 2020 class. Swing it well from the left side. Movements prior to launch are fluid and athletic, putting him in a balanced position at launch. Swing is full of intent and he showed the ability to turn on balls with authority in BP. Popped in the low to mid 1.9s in showcase and also looked solid in game back there.

A lefty swinger with a quick bat. Loading sequence in fluid and he does a nice job of creating energy with his lower half. Path is level and swing is compact. Gets on plane early giving him a large margin for error in timing. Has the look of a three-hole guy. Defensively, he showed an advance skill set for his age. Starts in a balanced, athletic stance. Actions are easy and fluid. Takes quick jab stab and keeps momentum in line towards second base. Hands and transfer are quick to the ear with short arm action. Generated impressive pop times for his age. One of the top 2020 catchers that we have seen at this stage.

5-foot-6, 125-pound prospect. From the crouch, he reached a top velocity of 66 mph. Pop times ranged between 2.21 to 2.46. Narrow stance. Tendency to open early out of his stance, which affected his accuracy. Advanced skill set in the outfield for his age, Maxwell was able to play through the ball to maintain momentum into his throws. He threw accurately with carry to home plate, reaching a top velocity of 73 mph to home plate. Ran an 8.15 60-yard dash. Balanced stance with his hands held low. He used a quick leg lift, swing tends to get long at times while making good contact.
