Body Type: 5-foot-7, 145 pounds. Athletic frame with room to add.
Swing Mechanics: Left-handed hitter that starts in an athletic stance. Goes with a leg lift for timing as hands stay quiet through load and into launch.
Hit: Athletic kid with both strength and speed to hands. Compact stroke that travels on a slightly downhill path to contact. Nice feel for contact with the ability to use all fields. Sprayed it in BP.
Power: 76 mph exit velocity. Line drive guy with gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Ideal top of the lineup.  
Run: 4.13 H-1st.
Field: Moves well in the outfield. Times feet well to play through the baseball with rhythm. Ball skills are on par for class. Good athlete.
Throw: Clean, compact arm with more strength to come.
Defensive Projection: CF/LF.

2/12/19 Pitching

Body Type: 5-foot-7, 145 pounds. Athletic frame with room to add.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Throws out of a 3/r arm slot with loose, quick arm action. Provides and upbeat tempo throughout his delivery including a little hitch prior to driving downhill.
Fastball: 73-77 mph. Glove-side run on it and threw mostly for strikes up in the zone.
Curveball: 62-64 mph. Showed 1-6 breaking action. Improving in staying on top of the baseball as he goes to release it.
Changeup: 69-71 mph. Not much depth to it right now with little arm-side run. Threw for strikes.
Pitchability: Tempo became more even-paced as his round continued on. Seemed to settle in well which led to his fastball sitting 76-77 mph as opposed to 73-75 mph early in outing. Off-speed pitches the arm speed slows down. Easy fix to improve efficiency of those pitches.
Additional Comments: Will continue to grow and fill out. Has time for development to occur.

5-foot-6, 130 pound lefty with a loose arm. On the mound he uses solid back leg drive and upper body torque to gather his momentum towards the plate. His front foot tends to land slightly open. He throws from a ¾ arm slot and his fastball has some late glove side cut action. Curveball had a 12 to 6 trajectory.A lefty swinger that starts in an open setup. Uses a fluid, leg kick load to get lower half going. Hands move back prior to launch. Path is uphill with above average bat speed. Showed barrel awareness and bat gets through contact well. Line drive type guy that occasionally found the gaps. From the outfield he plays under control approaching the baseball. Looks confident playing through. Arm has looseness and whip to it. Throws showed solid carry.
