Morgan Brown: C/RHP, (2024) Monroe, OH. 6-foot, 165-pound. At the plate, Brown had an exit velocity of 87 mph. (62.4 mph bat speed average). (18.4 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced quiet stance with a small load, then used a controlled stride. Has a short simple swing plane, quick bat speed and high finish. Behind the plate, throw downs to second were maxed at 72 mph; showed a natural transfer, soft hands, and consistent feet. produced pop times of 2.03-2.16. Clean setup with some flexibility. Used a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.47. (Max spin ; Avg ).
6-foot, 165-pound lanky frame. Solid during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 86 mph. Begins in a tall balanced stance with a small controlled load, then uses a short stride. Had above average bat speed. Through his round he found multiple barrels. Line drive approach. While catching, his best position velocity throwing to second was registered at 66 mph; had consistent hands, average footwork, and a quick clean exchange. Produced pop times of 2.16-2.21. Has staggered setup.
