 C/2B, (2023) Medina, OH. 5-foot-6, 150-pound. During batting practice, Korduba recorded an exit velocity of 87 mph. (63.8 mph bat speed average). (19.3 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed is quick, uses an uphill swing plane and balanced finish. Behind the plate, he recorded a position velocity of 71 mph during throw downs; has soft hands, a clean transfer, and consistent feet. displayed next-level catching ability by boasting a 1.94-2.05 pop time. Calm setup with some flexibility. Showed a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. Recorded a time of 7.36 in the 60-yard dash.  

Nathan Korduba: C/3B, (2023) Medina, OH. 5-foot-5, 150-pound. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 88 mph. (60.9 mph bat speed average). (19.8 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Had an uphill swing plane, quick bat speed and high finish. Behind the plate, his best recorded velocity during throw downs was clocked at 73 mph; showed consistent feet, a clean transfer, and sure hands. showed his ability to throw runners out with an efficient pop time of 1.95-2.08. Calm setup with some flexibility. Had a high slot with a quick arm action. Recorded a 60 time of 7.13 at the event. 

Nathan Korduba: C/3B, (2023) Walsh Jesuit, OH. 5-foot-4, 135-pound lean frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 85 mph. Started in a balanced athletic stance with a quick load, then used a controlled stride. Had a flat swing plane, above average bat speed and high finish. While catching, his best position velocity throwing to second was registered at 69 mph; had a twitchy quick exchange, consistent footwork, and soft hands. Consistently had pop times of 2.00-2.11. Quiet setup with some flexibility. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.22. Capable on the mound, had an over-the-top arm angle and consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Low balance point. Curveball (59-61 mph), changeup (68-69 mph), knuckle (56-57 mph).Produced a fastball that came in at 68-72 mph. 

Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Goes with a double tap timing mechanism during backload to hands. Compact, slightly downhill path to contact. Sprayed it around the yard with about 80/20 pull side %.
Power:Contact type bat with developing natural tools.
Offensive Projection: Table setter.

Max BP Distance:246 ft
Field: Impressive pop times considering developing arm strength. Feet work and he can exchange quickly. Limited viewing on blocking but showed solid skill set with receiving abilities that are on par for class.
Throw: Developing strength.

2/2/20 Position Player
Hit:Starts in an athletic setup at the plate. Hands stay quiet during double tap timing trigger. Downhill path through the zone with a balanced combination of strength and speed to hands. Low line drive/ground balls in BP.
Power: Line drive pop.
Offensive Projection: Table Setter.
Field: Plays low and fast in the infield. Attacks the baseball off the bat with direct routes. Ball skills are on pr for class. Also worked out behind the dish. Another young, talented backstop for the Warhawks. Showed above average catch/throw abilities with solid athleticism back there.
Throw: More strength on the way.
Defensive Projection:C/2B.

2/2/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: Short arm action with up-beat tempo throwing out of the slot.
Fastball: Comes in on a straight line with no run, effective with accuracy while sitting 66-68mph.
Fastball Spin Rate: 1702-1892
Slider: Comes across as a 10/5 slider with little bite at 57-60mph.
Slider Spin Rate: 1804-1856
Changeup: Looks like a fast ball coming out of hand with some gloveside run sitting around 60-62mph

Body Type:  5-foot-3, 110-pound athletic frame.

Swing Mechanics:  Simple load with minimal movement that gets everything in sync well.

Hit:  Downhill bat path with a middle of the field approach that produces backspin.

Power: Line drive guy right now with more to come.

Offensive Projection:  TBD.
Field: In the infield he plays fast, cutting down distance off the bat. Feet work quickly and ball skills are developing.  At the catcher position, he has quick feet with a smooth transfer.  Receiving and blocking skills are still developing.
Throw: Compact arm action with much more strength to come as he matures physically.
Defensive Projection: C/2B.

Body Type: 5-foot-3, 110-pound prospect.
Swing Mechanics: Right-handed hitter that starts in a tall, open stance. Hands stay quiet during knee pinch movement with lower half.
Hit: Middle-away approach in BP. Swing is slightly downhill and compact. Feel hitter that would be aided by adding some loft to stroke. Young prospect that has much more to come.
Power: 69 mph exit velocity. Line drive pop.
Offensive Projection: Ball Mover.
Run:  7.89 60-yard dash.
Field: In the infield he plays low too and through. Hands are soft and he looks to be a reliable defender. Behind the dish he recorded pop times of 2.60-2.74.
Throw: Long back arm action through a high- slot. Much more strength to come with maturity.
Defensive Projection: 2B/3B/C.

2/6/19 Pitching

Body Type: 5-foot-3, 110 pounds. Compact size with room to add.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Presents shorter arm action out of a arm slot. Tempo is more upbeat in his motion and provides solid intent behind his throws.

Fastball: 58-62 mph. Not much run on it currently. Finishes higher at times. More effective with this pitch out of the stretch. Kept it lower and more strikes.  
Curveball: 54-58 mph. Average breaker right now showing 10-5 action of of his hand. Was at the bottom of the strike zone more times than not.

Changeup: 52-56 mph. Glove-side run with little sinking action. Strikes mostly living low.

Pitchability: Sometimes with tempo his got a little ahead of himself. When he slowed that process down he had more control of his pitches and saw greater efficiency.
