Hit: Lefty swinger with athleticism to his actions in the box. Smooth leg lift during quiet load with hands. Backside launch with an uphill path. Swing shows a respectable combination of strength and speed with the ability to square the baseball up often.
Power: Top batting practice exit velocity was 71.8 and he reached a top batting practice distance of 213 feet.
Offensive Projection: TBD, young hitter with much more physical maturation to come.
Field: Registered pop times ranging between 2.19-2.37. Starts in a mid crouch before getting upright during transfer. Exchange skills are developing. Although he showed solid traits behind the dish he looked a bit more natural in the outfield. Plays with a faster, easier pace and ball skills are on par for class.
Throw: Tossed it to home plate with 76 mph arm strength and 66 mph was top velocity from the catcher position.
Defensive Projection: OF/C.
