Phillip Langenkamp: SS/2B, (2022) Archbishop Moeller, OH. 6-foot-2, 164-pound lean athletic build. Athletic during batting practice, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 85 mph. (57.53 mph bat speed average). (19.98 mph hand speed average). Began in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then used a controlled stride. Had efficient quick bat speed and a short simple swing plane. Found multiple barrels in his round. Up the middle approach. Solid in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 77 mph; showed fluid rhythmic feet, a clean exchange, and soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. Recorded a time of 7.38 in the 60-yard dash.

Phillip Langenkamp: 2B/RHP, (2022) Archbishop Moeller, OH. 6-foot-2, 164-pound projectable frame. In the box, Langenkamp had an exit velocity of 91 mph. Starts in an athletic stance with a smooth quick load, then uses a big leg kick. Bat speed was average, and displayed a level swing plane. Athletic while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 77 mph; has a clean exchange, soft hands, and athletic feet. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. On the mound, showed good arm speed with a ¾ arm angle and a quick arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Showed an athletic balance point. Threw his fastball 75-78 mph; had arm side command and running action. His 11/5 curveball (69-72) showed plus action. Shows arm side control and fading action on his changeup (71-72).

Scouting Notes:Very athletic, 6-foot-1 frame that has endless projection left on it. Expect more velocity as physical maturation takes its course. Slower paced tempo on the mound that doesn't require much effort. Arm works well/clean throughout process. Mostly in line finish with lower half. Fastball dominant pitcher who isn't afraid to challenge hitters with the pitch.

Swing is compact working a slight downhill path to contact. Stays inside the baseball nicely, showing a middle back approach in BP. Laced a single over the second baseman's head in game.
Power:Line drive pop. Quicker than he is strong presently but tools are comparable with much more to come as he fills out projectable frame.

Hit: Smooth loading sequence, movements come together well, balanced launch. Path is level with a balanced combination of strength and speed to hands, all fields approach. 
Power: Line drive pop, more to come.
Top BP Exit Velocity: 77 mph.
Top BP Distance: 236 ft.
Offensive Projection: Table setter.
Field: Confident defender with fluid actions. Ball skills are above average and he showed the ability to make plays on the move.
Throw: 78 mph across the infield
Defensive Projection: 2B.

2/17/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Slow tempo delivery with a short quick arm motion out of the ¾ arm slot. Lacks much usage out of the lower half. Fastball: Mostly true through the zone with occasional arm side run. Curveball: 11/5 break with average depth and bite. Changeup: Slows motion down a bit with some arm side sink. 2/17/20 Position Player Hit: Fluid motions in the box. Starts out in a balanced setup. Keeps loading sequence short and simple. Slight uphill bat path creates natural loft. Power: Gap to gap pop. Offensive Projection: TBD. Field: Solid glove skills and soft hands. Footwork is average for his class. Quick transfer. Throw: Short arm action through a ¾ slot. Registered 69 mph across the diamond with more in the tank. Defensive Projection: 2B.

1/20/20 Position Player
Hit: Easy, athletic stroke from the right side. Stays compact through the zone, showing off above average natural tools. Ball comes off well and he's not afraid to turn and burn or go the other way.
Power: Flashed gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles.
