Ricky Heidrich: RHP/SS, (2023) Greenville, OH.
5-foot-10, 155-pound slim frame. Raw during batting practice, Heidrich had a max exit velocity of 80 mph. Begins in an athletic open stance with a slow controlled load, then uses a toe tap. Had some bat speed. Line drive approach. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 71 mph; showed athletic consistent feet, and soft hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.72. Athletic on the mound, showed a ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action with good arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Showed in line shoulders. Changeup (65-67 mph), slider (63-64 mph).Sat with his fastball at 76-79 mph. Had slight running action. He has a 10/4 curveball (62-63).
1/20/20 Position Player
Hit: Righty swinger with a simple, repeatable loading sequence. Balanced launch with a downhill stroke. Swing has some whip through the zone. Saw the most natural ball flight to opposite field gap.
Power: Contact type at this stage.
Offensive Projection: Table Setter.

Delivery Notes: 3/4 right-hander with feel for the slot. Delivery doesn't require much effort and ball come sout well. Nice, in-line finish.
Fastball: Slot allows for natural run on the heater. Should see more mphs with maturity. 70-72 mph.
Fastball Spin Rate: 1700-1900
Curveball: Breaking ball glides through the zone on a 10/4 plane. 60-62 mph.
