R. Brennan Helcher-Green: SS/C, (2022) Rutherford B Hayes, OH. 6-foot, 190-pound. Athletic at the plate, Helcher-green's 94 mph exit velocity ranks him 3rd at the event. During setup, has a controlled small load and uses a short stride. Had quick bat speed. Found multiple barrels with loud contacts. Gap to gap approach. Solid in the infield, displayed a velocity of 74 mph; showed athletic feet, a quick fluid exchange, and sure hands. While catching, throw downs to second were maxed at 70 mph; shows consistent hands, consistent athletic feet, and a quick exchange. Produced pop times of 2.08-2.17. Showcased some flexibility.
Hit:Doesn't get cheated up there. Fast rotator that took a turn and burn BP at time but also showed backspin abilities to the middle of the field. Physicality and batpseed both were evident in swing.
Power:Gap abilities.
Offensive Projection:Middle of lineup.

Field:In the infield he moves light on his feet with a quicker first step. plyas low too and through. Good tempo. Ball skills are there. Also worked out behind the dish where he showed an above average skill set. Versatile, solid defender.

Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Uses a smooth leg lift during slight back load to hands. Downhill stroke. Pull side approach in BP.
Power: Quick hands with some strength in there as well. Flashed gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Table Setter.
Field :In the infield he does a nice job of creating angles with his feet. Plays through the baseball with consistent rhythm. Also worked out behind the dish. Good athlete with quick feet and above average exchange abilities. Popped as low as 1.99 and should only get better as arm strengthens.
Throw: Respectable strength.
Defensive Projection: UTL.
Body Type: 5-foot-10, 165-pound athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Simple and smooth load into his back leg with minimal movement.
Hit: Level bat path that work to the pull side. Good feel in the box. Natural backpin to the middle part of the field.
Power: Flashed pop to the pull side. 80.9 mph off the bat in BP.
Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup guy.
Field: In the infield he plays with quick feet and good tempo throughout. Glove looks reliable. Solid defender out there. Behind the dish, he features an open stance with quick feet and a smooth transfer. Receives the baseball well along with developing blocking skills.
Throw: Average arm with present accuracy. Behind the dish, he features a developing arm with short arm action.
