Footwork is quick and efficient. Exchange skills is the area for improvement.
2/4/17 At the plate he starts in a wider setup and uses little movement with his lower half prior to his short stride forward. Bat gets vertical prior to taking a mostly level path to the ball. Very strong kid with above average bat speed. Swings with intent and confidence. Worked through a middle away approach, showing the ability to drive the ball with authority. Behind the plate he starts in a lower crouch, pre-setting his footwork prior to his throws to second. Transfer skills are adequate. Keeps weight on his back leg on throws.
