Body Type: 5-foot-11 160-pound prospect.
Swing Mechanics: Starts in a narrow, open stance. Has a lunge forward during the load and is short to the ball.
Hit: Shows strong hands and wrists and good barrel control.
Power: 72 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: Shows fairly quick hands and good barrel control. Would be a guy who would be best with a linedrive approach to all fields.
Field: In the outfield he squats deep while fielding with two hands. Waits on the ball too much but shows decent footwork once the ball has been secured. Behind the plate he showed minimal footwork and a choppy, somewhat slow exchange on his throws.
Throw: 70 mph from the outfield. 69 mph from behind the plate.
Run: 4.58 home to first.
Defensive Projection: Presently would project best as a corner OF type at the next level. Probably fits best in LF.
