Began in a balanced quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed was quick, displayed a simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 78 mph; has a natural exchange, consistent feet, and sure hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.9. On the mound, showed some arm speed, he had a compact arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1984; Avg 1773). His 11/5 curveball had gradual action. (Max spin 2039; Avg 2039).
