A right-handed hitter with a very fluid loading sequence. Tips his barrel vertical during his leg kick load. Path is level and bat speed is above average. Creates energy with little effort. Consistently produced line drives to the middle of the field. Has the look of a hitter that can hit for a high average. In the infield he showed athletic footwork and confidence in his glove. Does a nice job of fielding the ball out in front of his body. Second baseman type. Behind the dish, he has efficient footwork. Creates and maintains momentum to second base. Makes up for arm strength with quickness to his transfer. Pop times ranged between 1.97 to 2.05.

1/22/17
A very fluid hitter from the right side. Hands stay loose during his leg kick load. Weight tends to get stuck on back leg at times. When he gets a weight transfer into contact he showed impressive pop for frame. Path is level. Has the tools to be a middle of the lineup guy. Very efficient footwork behind the plate. Does a nice job of creating direction and gaining ground. Transfer is smooth and efficient.

1/16/17
Behind the plate he showed quick footwork while getting in line to second base. Transfer skills are above average at this stage. Put most of his throws on the bag. Very fluid at the plate with an efficient loading sequence. Creates effortless juice through a leg kick load and barrel tip. Path is level with above average bat speed. Showed gap to gap pop in batting practice. A solid third baseman  that showed confidence in his glove and had solid lateral mobility. Made all the plays. Looked comfortable at the position.

5/31/16
5-foot-8, 165-pound athletic frame. At the plate the righty starts in a balanced setup, slightly open from the right side. Has fluidity to his hands back, knee pinch load. Has above average batspeed at this stage while getting the barrel through the zone on a level path. A line drive hitter that was able to work both sides of the field. Registered an exit velocity of 80 mph off the tee. Has an above average arm behind the plate for his age as he threw with 72 mph arm strength to second base. Would like to see him work on getting in line to second during his transfer as he tends to fade to the third base side. Pop times ranged from 2.02-2.12.

2/21/16
5-foot-6, 150-pound athletic frame. Right-handed hitter that starts open and gets to even. Uses a toe tap to load with a flat swing that gets long at times. Registered top exit velocity of 81 mph and ran a 5 flat from home to first. From a crouch he tends to stand up when receiving. Shows good footwork getting feet in line with a clean transfer. Throws from a 3/4 slot with pop times ranging from 2.04-2.19 and 71 mph arm strength from home to second.
2/13/16
5-foot-6, 150-pound athletic build. In the infield he showcased a quick first step and fluid, athletic actions. Was able to field the ball out in front of his body and had a quick exchange. From a 3/4 slot he threw with 74 mph arm strength across the infield. At the plate he uses a rhythmic double tap load to create good forward energy. Timing significantly improved from the last time we saw him. Bat gets through the zone with some speed and strength and he was able to square up the majority of the pitches he saw in batting practice. Exit velocity was 80 mph. Ran a 7.63 60-yard dash.
1/31/16
5-foot-6, 150-pound athletic build. At the plate the righty uses a double tap load for timing and gets his foot down very early. Would like to see him get his foot down on time rather than so early to maintain the momentum he creates in his load. Hands don't do much in his load but he has enough quickness in his bat to get them through the zone efficiently with a good, level path. Exit velocity  was 80 mph and ran a 4.63 from home to first. From behind the plate his transfer was quick and had short, clean arm action. Has a tendency to get going to third base side a little during his transfer. Pop times ranged from 2.08-2.17 and he threw with 71 mph arm strength to second base.

6/3/15
5-foot-6, 135-pound athletic build. From behind the plate he receives it well with a clean transfer. He needs to improve his footwork and get his feet in line. From a 3/4 slot he showed 69 mph arm strength with pop times ranging between 2.19-2.32. Right-handed hitter with a leg kick to load. Has some strength in his swing with a flat path. Registered top exit velocity of 76 mph and ran 4.9 home to first.
