Elijah Allen: LHP/OF, (2024) West Liberty Salem, OH. 6-foot, 140-pound athletic slim frame. (64.7 mph bat speed average). (18.7 mph hand speed average). Begins in an athletic stance with a small compact load, then uses a toe tap stride. Has efficient bat speed, rotational swing plane and level finish. Found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Capable his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 76 mph; has sure hands, a fluid exchange, and consistent developing feet. Fields the ball to the side, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. Smooth on the mound, had a short arm action and a ¾ arm angle with good arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Showed low balance point and in line even shoulders. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Showed command in the zone and slight running action with heavy movement. (Max spin 1942; Avg 1861).
